Nakon kratke ekskurzije u političkim naukama i pripravničkog staža u fotografiji, u ranim 90-im sam započela putovanje na filmskim studijama. Prvo sam pohađala grafički fakultet u Londonu, a potom fakultet umetnosti Sv. Martina, gde sam se specijalizovala u filmskoj montaži. Tokom godina provedenih u Londonu bila sam aktivna u udruženju „Filmmakers’ Coop“ i član „Exploding Cinema Collective“. 1996 sam postala suosnivač „Cinema Nova“ u Briselu, nezavisnog bioskopa posvećenog alternativnim i nekomercijalnim filmovima.

After a short incursion in Political Science and a traineeship in photography, in the early 90’s I embarked on a journey in film studies. I first attended the London College of Printing, then St Martin’s College of Art, and then specialized in film-editing. During my London years I used to hang around the Filmmakers’ Coop and I was also member of the Exploding Cinema Collective. In 1996 I co-founded Cinema Nova in Brussels, an independent cinema dedicated to alternative and non-commercial films.
